The gigs over the weekend were a lot of fun. The Friday night at the Vic in Derby was filmed so we’ll edit that down and get something up here on the website. Saturday at the Star & Garter in Burton was great, it’s good that the venue is back in business and to support the Outcast Band there was a real priviledge.
It was great to see friends both old and new there too and look forward to...

The first is a cover of the Buzzcocks classic “Ever Fallen in Love?” set to a completely new arrangement. This has been a very popular cover at our gigs and one we never tire of playing.
The second is one of our own, “On Icarus Wings”...

We were busy bunnies over the weekend, we had a good time at the 7th Annual Whatstandwell Festival playing alongside LoFiLung and Lucy Ward, both great musicians and fun to see and hear. We were called on to play an encore which was very nice of the audience some of whom were bizarrely dressed for a beach party- near Matlock???
Next day we had a last minute request to play at The Mercia Marina in Willington...

Saturday night saw us playing at The Wharf in Welford- a good venue with a good receptive crowd. The gig was a tough one for us though- very cold fingers aren’t conducive to good string playing! Despite Mark’s attempt to break all of his strings the audience still danced- must’ve been the beer.
Sunday saw us in The Wetmore Whistle with Northern Monkey- what a great band they are! We’re...
