Jude Hackett

Jude Hackett (2008-2010) was a founding member of Green Fortune.

To poor to be born, Julian was knitted by the WRVS and posted through his parent’s letter box while they weren’t looking and as he grew older and entered the 1970’s the Punk explosion seemed to pass him by as he became a firm fan of Rock Music following bands such as Rainbow, Iron Maiden and Saxon.

At the age of 11, unable to play a guitar, he turned to brass instruments thus beginning a 22 year association with Brass Bands, playing in concerts and competitions all over Europe and North America.

Like Mark, Julian too discovered coal mining just as all the pits were closing and has never been credited for that discovery and for this he still holds a grudge against Lady Thatcher

 At the tender age of 35 he started to play the Bass Guitar and joined his first group Luke 15 followed by classic rock covers band 12 Storey Crisis.

A chance meeting with his old school pal Mark, lead to the formation of Green Fortune and here we are today.
