Great gig, strange gig…

Mayday saw us at Swithland Beltane Ball with a gig raising money for cancer charities.  What a great time was had by all- we had a lot of fun and the whole evening rocked!!  There were some very good performances by Cirrus Wheel (on their first outing with their new line up), Stefan Seniuk “The Devil’s Bard” with an introduction to the Bardic tradition, belly dancers, then Raven Kings with a great folk rock set and finally Green Fortune with an intro by the Ashby Drummers.  Once the drum beats got going everyone wanted to dance- so dance they did!  Rhys played some really hot stuff on his harp and we were called back for an encore!  Looking forward to the next one…
